Cole hit the magical 18 month milestone a couple weeks ago. Why is 18 months so magical you ask? Because that is the age for nursery!!!! After 8 long years of having a baby to wrestle for 3 hours of church- my arms were suddenly empty. It is a little sad to see this stage come to an end, but only a little. I was actually able to sit in a chair with my arms free during Sunday School and Relief Society. I was able to hear the lessons taught and not have to be entertaining or walking the halls. The best part of this is that Cole loves nursery! He didn't even look back as we ushered him in the door. No tears, no worried expression- nothing. He went happily in again this past week. Hard to believe that my last baby is not much of a baby anymore. He is a big nursery boy.
All dressed up for his first week of nursery.
Posing happily at the spot where the other kids always get their pictures taken.
Starting to get a little goofy now.

What a glorious day!!! And even better that he went in so well!!
I love the last pic of him
with his tongue sticking out!
He is a funny-fun boy!
So glad he is finding nursery
to be a happy place. You
must be wondering what to
do with your empty lap!
thanks for the pics and update

P.S. I LOVE how he
automatically goes to
the "picture spot" just
like the big kids!
He doesn't miss much,
does he?
