Halloween

Wow- Halloween has come and gone and we are and still will be recovering from the sugar rush for days to come. We bit the bullet and actually went out for some real trick-or-treating this year. We met up with some friends of ours in our old neighborhood. It was fun to show the kids off in their costumes and see all of our old ward members. We even got a picture of Drew with another Drew. Our Drew was born on the exact same day (Friday October the 13th) as this Drew- just sixteen years apart. Same name same day- how wierd is that. Anyway- Sadie had a blast and was very gracious to everyone who gave her candy. Sometimes she even started out by saying thank you instead of trick-or-treat. The candy is now being monitored by me- which of course Sadie does not approve of. We will see how long that lasts. Brad is going out of town for business all next week- so hey- if things get bad- I may just give her the whole bucket of candy and let her go crazy.
