So this weekend has been a bit of a crazy one. We were all set to have a relaxing day of college basketball watching and couldn't wait to cheer on our Utah State Aggies last night- when Drew decided to spike a 103 degree fever. This kid never shows signs of being sick so I never know to what extent his illness is until something happens like a fever of 103. I decided to take him in to the after hours clinic and what does he end up with- an ear infection and bronchitis. I feel like crappy mom of the year for that one. We got him started on anti- biotics and he is on nebulizer breathing treatments four times daily and is doing much better today. This kid is a handful with all the energy he has- but I will take that any day over watching him barely be able to lift his head off the pillow. I slyly nicknamed the mask for his breathing treatments the "buzz lightyear helmet" and now he has no problem puting it on when he needs his medicine. We were still able to watch the Aggies win last night and can't wait to see how they do in the tournament. My mom sent these cute matching dresses for Sadie and her doll. Sadie wore hers to church today- but Rosie(the doll) had to stay home since she has been heavily tattooed with stickers by Drew and in Sadie's words-"that is not appropriate for church." I am thankful for kids that don't get sick too often- for a husband that took on all my other responsibilities yesterday while I was at the doctor with Drew- and for Toy Story and Toy Story 2- because without them Drew would have bronchitis forever.
