Take Me Out To The Ball Game

We bought tickets to a D-backs game about six weeks ago. Drew has been talking about going non-stop, and yesterday was finally the day. They were playing the Pirates so Drew was pretty excited about that. He was a little dissapointed to see that they weren't in full pirate costume- but he quickly got over that once we pointed out the pirate logo on the big screen that came up everytime a player batted. All four of the kids- I mean all three of the kids plus Brad really had a great time. They danced to all the songs, enjoyed huge corndogs and icecream, and made it clear til the bottom of the 8th inning. That is big for us since we usually are packing up to head home shortly after the seventh inning stretch. It was a great family outing, and the pirates won so Drew was pretty happy about that. I am sure there are more baseball games in our future.
