Football, Abelskievers, and Nesting
Our weekend went by way too fast- but was pretty productive. Brad and Drew were all about the football. Not just watching football- we now are all participating in fantasy football as well. Brad is in four leagues and I am in two. My brother started a league for our family and has got us all involved. My dad is the surprise of the bunch. He called me several times yesterday to talk "smack" since we were playing eachother and he was beating me. I was a nice wife and mom and made abelskievers for us all on Saturday morning. If you don't know what these are I will tell you. They are like round pancakes made in a cast iron skillet with little holes in it. We have had them ever since I was little and now I can make them for my family since my parents gave us all pans a couple years ago. They are a lot of work so we don't have them too often. We also went to Target and got a bunch of stuff to organize and store all the baby clothes in Sadie's/Brinlee's room. Sadie and I were all about the organization Saturday afternoon and evening. I have yet to take pictures of our progress- but I will do that shortly and add them to this post. I fell about 50% ready for this baby to be here which isn't too bad since I have about 85 days left. Sadie went to another day of preschool day and loved it just as much as last week.

Wow. I'm impressed with the organized closet. If you're 50% ready for your baby, I'm negative 50% ready, and I already have her here! I've got to figure out some way to make the closet space stretch further since Natalie's clothes are just hanging out in a laundry basket for now...
Yay for abelskievers! You are such a cute mom and wife to do that! I love that you carry on the family tradition. That pic of Sadie in front of the closet is so cute - she is so purely in love with Brinlee and it shows in her face. Yay that Drew likes watching football with Brad, I knew he would someday, I just didn't think he would catch on so soon! That leaves you girls to do the 'nesty' stuff..fun! BE sure to leave some room in the closet for stuff from Nana. Wish I could be closer, but pics are the next best thing so thanks for all of them...I decided today to get back into scrapbooking, so hopefully by the time Brinlee arrives I will be close to caught up with Sadie, Drew and Carson. Kiss everyboday from me...
