The Birthday Boy

Brad turned the big 29 yesterday- he is almost 30- ahhh! He took the day off of work which is quite unusual for him. We had a great day shopping around the outlet mall, playing wii, and hanging out. He had minimal studying to do which was nice, and a friend even offered to take the kids so he and I could go out to dinner. It was really nice to have a little time alone and to enjoy our dinner in peace. This guy is pretty amazing even if he is pushing 30. He impresses me everyday with how much he can balance. He is loved at his job, is such a smarty pants getting As and Bs in graduate school, and is by far the more fun parent if you ask the kids. Drew got Brad a football and some jelly beans and when he gave Brad the presents he said "You'll share won't you?" Sadie made him a count down calendar out of post its to show how many days of school he has left. He got spoiled and deserved every minute of it. He requested Cold Stone cupcakes for his cake and even picked out the pink frosted one for himself. Happy birthday B-rad- we love ya!

We're glad that you were born Bradley! Hope your day was happy. You have an adorable family there, thanks for being such a good "Pa" to the kidlets, and a great husband to Claire.
love,

Claire!
This is waaaaay off subject but Jared and I just bought a sectional Sat. night off Craigslist and I just realized that it is the exact same one as yours. It came brand new, in a box, and is being stored at our neighbor's house until our home closes (hopefully next week). I haven't even seen inside the box. My mom asked me if it is comfortable and I don't even know. So no I'm relying on you to reassure my blind buyer's remorse. Do you like yours? Is it comfy? More importantly, can you scrub off food/crayons, etc from the kids? I'm kind of wondering if we both go the same "killer" deal? Hmmm...

One more thing, Happy Birthday Brad!
