In between all the birthday celebrations in Utah we were able to do lots of fun activities. We made a trip to the bowling alley wtih Nana and Grandpa. Drew barely pushed the ball down the little ramp and got most of the pins consistently. Sadie would line the ramp up and very carefully aim the ball and would get one or two pins. After we talked about that it didn't matter who won- things went a lot better. We also made a trip to Pirate Island in Orem. It is a pizza place with a pirate theme. There was a big pirate ship for the kids to play on and a huge arcade full of pirate games. The food wasn't that great, but the ambiance definitely made up for that. As you can imagaine, Drew was in heaven. Our last outing was to a Bees baseball game in Salt Lake. Unfortunately, the night we had planned to go was rainy and cold. The kids lasted until the second inning and then they had had enough so we packed up and came home. They defnitely prefer baseball games at our air conditioned stadium here in AZ.

Haha, we were just at Pirate Island a couple of days ago. It is fun. I think they keep changing chefs, so the food goes from mediocre to great depending. Right now they are in a slump for sure.
"And a lovely time was had by all.."
At least that's how it seems to me.
So glad you took pics. Mine
are still in "photo heck". ;)
Love,

P.S. Tell Sadie she is grounded from growin up anymore!
I'll make a party for her every year, but I'll not tolerate her
growing a year older.
Thanks again for taking the
trip, even though it was so
difficult. We appreciate it! xo
