33- Yippeee!

Brad had a birthday this past week.  He was out of town all week for work and was supposed to come back on Valentine's Day.  His birthday is the day after Valentine's Day so that was going to work out perfectly.  Well thanks to all that crazy winter weather back east- his flight on Friday was canceled and we didn't get him back until Saturday afternoon.  We took him his traditional birthday donuts to have at the airport when we picked him up.  Drew had really wanted to give him tickets to see the new Lego Movie so earlier in the week we went to the theater and got the tickets for Saturday afternoon- thinking Brad would be home Friday night.  We barely made it back from the airport in time for them to head out to see the movie.  Brad had been up since 2:30am at this point, but was a trooper and made Drew's day by going to the movie with him.  When they got back we opened other presents and then made the birthday boy have a little nap.  He was so sick of eating out all week so we just had spaghetti for dinner.  He said it was the best thing he had eaten all week.  We ended the night with some yummy cake and ice cream and an early bedtime for everyone.  Happy Birthday to a great pa and husband.  We are so glad to have him back with us!
