We had the amazing opportunity last week to attend the Gilbert Arizona Temple open house as a family. It was a unique opportunity for the kids to see inside a temple before it is dedicated. We had been looking forward to this for a while. We had made a few trips out to the site while it was under construction and the kids even each have a piece of a damaged wall that they were given at the makeshift visitors center. The Gilbert temple is the largest temple to be built in the last 17 years. It is massive. We went up and down quite a few flights of stairs and got to see the beautiful rooms and workmanship throughout the temple. The girls were in awe over all the pretty chandeliers and gold plated door knobs. The boys had a need to touch all of the furniture and comment on its cushiness. It was a beautiful day and we took advantage by getting some pretty pictures of our forever family in front of the temple. As we were loading up to come home, I could faintly here Brinlee in the backseat humming I love to see the temple. So sweet!

SO sweet! I love that part
about Brin humming on the
way home. The pics are
beautiful! I'm so glad there
is one of your whole family!
Also cute is how each of the
kids saw things that were of
particular interest to them.
Love Drew's comment about the
'cushiness'. And the girls
look so pretty in their new
dresses. In one of the pics
it looks like Cole is
considering jumping into
the reflecting pool!
love every bit of this-thanks
