Fall Fun
Nana and Grandpa came for a little visit over Conference Weekend and we crammed a lot of holdiay celebrating into a short time. We started off with an early Thanksgiving dinner complete with pumpkin pie. We then decorated some pumpkins with ribbon, felt polka dots, and some foam sticker things. They didn't turn out as perfect as I would have liked- but they are a good representation of each kid so I am happy with that. We then celebrated Drew's birthday a week early. Drew loves pirates right now so we had a piarte themed party complete with a treasure hunt. We hid little clues all over the house and yard and the kids ultimately ended up at the washing machine where they found their treasure. We enjoyed some yummy Cold Stone cupcakes for dessert. My mom and dad got Drew this fun motorcycle which he has named Rumble. He loves to drive it all around but especially loves crashing it into me. We took the kids on a Harvest Moon Walk on Sunday night that was pretty fun as well. It was a great weekend full of fall fun. Thanks Nana and Grandpa for everything- we are already missing you and counting down the days til Christmas. Drew turns three in 6 days so check back for further birthday excitment.

Thanks for the pics (except for the last one of me where I look like a very large 'pirate lass'... maybe that's what makes Drew like me, hmmm...) Anyway, love the one of Drew with his sword - look at those eyelashes! And the one of Dad reading to the kids, so cute. We miss you guys already too. Thanks for letting us come to visit.
love,

you always have fun when your mom comes in town. If only I lived closer to join in on the fun!!! Miss ya!
Claire, I love seeing your little kids growing up and hearing about all the fun things you do with your parents. How about your whole family transferring back to San Diego next move? It will be just like old times, minus us in tu-tus.
