Saturday Night at the Ball Field

Tonight we headed out to Chase Field for our annual baseball trip as a fam. We watched the Diamondbacks lose to the Chicago Cubs. I think there were more Cubs fans in the stadium than Diamondbacks. The kids had fun as long as they were feeding their faces and being entertained by Baxter the mascot and the festivities that occur on the field between innings. In honor of the movie coming out this next week- Thor threw out the first pitch. Drew is obsessed with super heros right now so he could hardly believe it when Thor came out on the field. Brad proved yet again that he will put his kids happiness ahead of his own as he spent most of the game taking kids to the bathroom and standing in line for corn dogs and ice cream. I think he was happy that we were there as a family and knewthat he would probably not have the optimum game viewing experience as when he comes with one of his friends. We made it to the 7th inning stretch as usual and then decided to pack it in and head home. On our way out we found this little play place that was abandoned for a few minutes so we took advantage and let the kids run around and play for a minute. We stopped for one last pic with this Mickey Mouse statue that they have in honor of the all star game that the D-backs will be hosting here in a couple of months. Good memories were made by all and now the kids are all tuckered out and in bed. What a fun night!

What a cute family! You guys do such fun things with your kids. The memories you are making with them will be priceless in the years to come. Wish I could have heard the chatter in the car on the way home. I love how Brinlee is just stepping up and taking on her role being, "just one of the kids." How sweet that Brad was so accomadating of the kids (needs) and wants. How sweet of you to notice and appreciate it. Sorry if I sound sappy, but you guys are just the cutest family, always doing good things with eachother. You guys are amazing parents.
In the words of one of our favorite movie quotes, "you're doing it [wrong] right."
