Super Drew Turns 5!

Drew turned five on October 13th and we celebrated with our usual traditions as well as some new ones. Since it was fall break week and Sadie was home, we all went out to Krispy Kreme bright and early to get Drew's dozen free b-day donuts. Imagine our dissapointment when we found out they have now changed their policy and only offer one free b-day donut. Since the kids were anticipating each having a donut- I had to break down and buy two over priced donuts for the girls. Oh well- the kids were happy and I got over it soon enough. Next we headed out to the zoo with some friends(see post below). When Brad got home from work we went out to dinner and then came home to open presents and have Spider Man cupcakes and ice cream. I think all our family members got the memo that Drew is into Super Heros at the moment becuase each gift fit with the theme. He was definitely the most spoiled five year old that I know. He also got a camera from nana and grandpa and has already filled up the sd card that holds 1000 pictures. My next post will be a sampling of his photos so be on the look out for that. The next night we had our friends over to have fall dinner(chili and potatoe soup in bread bowls for the adults- halloween mac and cheese and mummy hot dogs for the kids) and decorate pumpkins. It was a fun night and Drew had a great time showing off and sharing all of his new toys with his friends. I can't believe Drew is 5. We sure do love our Super Drew!
