Train Park with G&G Phillips

Brad's parents came out for a little visit a couple of weeks ago. We had been planning to take them out to the train park in Scottsdale. No sooner had we put this on the books did I find out that Drew's preschool was going on a field trip to the train park the next week. Anyway, we had a great time and the weather was perfect. Everyone enjoyed the carousel and almost everyone had fun on the train. Just as we were boarding the train, we spotted Darth Vader walking across the park. It turns out somone was having a Star Wars themed b-day party at the train park that day. Drew was so excited to see Darth Vader, but Brinlee was terrified. She spent the whole train ride on Brad's lap crying and saying that she didn't want to see Darth Vader. As we got off the train, she was finally over her fear, but bummed that she didn't get to enjoy the train ride. Next time I will have to be sure we go on a day when there are only Hello Kitty parties happening at the park.
